In accordance with the norms of commercialisation at several International Fairs, a mechanism for payment has been established in the following manner:
  • Reservations may be made until 14th October 2005, with a down payment of 40% of the total amount of hiring the space.
  • Final payment: 4th November, for the remaining sum.

Stand types and furnishings

The exhibition area of The International Book Fair Venezuela 2005 comprises a light and dismountable structure especially built for its harmony with the Park (Parque del Este). The integrated modules of 8 m2 each can be adapted according to the needs of the exhibitor. Security on the site is guaranteed; the stand, the pavilion and the spacious surroundings of the park will be safeguarded by trained security personnel.

The national currency is the Bolivar.
1 US $ = Bs. 2.150 (official exchange)

**currently governed by currency controls existing in Venezuela. To facilitate the exchange of Bolivars, generated from sales, to Dollars, The National Book Council (el Centro Nacional del Libro) will advise and support the overseas exhibitor in the transactions necessary for this conversion.

Basic stand furniture (8m2)

A table and two chairs.
Eight (8) exhibition trays.
Two lights.
One 110 volt two-entry power point, with a five amp earth.
One waste paper bin.
The exhibitor should indicate whether this furniture will not be required in the stand.

* If a higher voltage is required to connect additional equipment, costs for the adjustments to the installation will be met by the exhibitor.
