At the age of seventeen he participated in the Introduction to Narrative workshop dictated by Juan Calzadilla Arreaza at 'Kuai-Mare'. Sequera took part of the in-the-background group ‘ La Oficina ', made up by students of the School of Arts who have performed numerous recitals, both within the University as at other different locations. He participated in the CONAC's special project ‘Hacia el Segundo Festival Mundial de Poesía' (Towards the Second World Poetry Festival) by reciting in popular zones of Caracas and in next villages as Guatire, Santa Teresa del Tuy. He participated in a reading session during the 2 nd World Poetry Festival together with foreign poets and poets of the Caracas community on July 27, 2005 . He has written two unpublished poetry books and has translated from English works of poets such as Amiri Baraka, e.e. Cummings, Gary Snyder, Kenneth Rexroth, and writes together with the author a translation of The Opening Line by Clifton Ross (translator into English of Eliseo Diego's works, among others).

At the moment he studies the ninth semester at the School of Arts of the Central University of Venezuela and is the reader and coordinator of the ‘Pensamiento' collection of the Ministry of Culture's ‘El Perro y La Rana' publishing house.
